A recording made in the middle of a small lake, facing towards the city. Mostly distant traffic noise with a great big natural reverb. Recorded with a zoom h1. Some hiss removed afterwards.

This is a recording made just outside my window. A helicopter flew over just a minute later, twice! i used a cheap large diaphragm condensor mic, with a plastic bendable tube around it, pointing just outside of my window. This created a cool midrangy-resonant-combfilter kind of sound. Gear used: cheap ldc -> m-audio dmp3 -> terratec ewx2496. This is for the earthfirewindwater contest. It is a 2:08 minute long, stereo 24/44 wave file.

This sound is completely analog. I recorded the sound of a person who was walking on the street. I chose to leave the noise of the street so that we understand that the person walks outside. I used the effect "amplification" to reduce the noise of the street and increase the sound of step. I made a fade in opening and closing, so that we have the impression that the steps are moving towards us then moves away. At the same time, i played with the pitch of the sound to accentuate this effect. Recording from top floor clarion hotel oslo. Recording is on the terras of the suite and the icrophones is pointing towards the sentral station. I have been useing sennheiser mkh 30 and mkh 50. To this recording there is a similar recording in with jecklin, useing bothe will creating a nice atmospher for surround ms in front and jecklin in rear.

Sunday afternoon (october 2014) at jardin des plantes in nantes (france). Recorder r05 (inbuilt stereo mic). Sitting on a bench near a small waterfall. Birds start to sing after few seconds. A man, somewhere in the park, is playing a traditional music instrument.

This is my city in the night i need it for an animated short and decided to share it, hope it will be useful.

The sound of going on the bus, getting off and walking to entrance of a university. 0:01 - 0:15 - opening of bus doors and the beeping sound of the bus card. During the bus ride you will be able to hear the soundscape of inside the bus, the bus itself when stopping you could hear the sound of its brakes, you can also hear sound of vehicles coming from outside, there is also a low rumble sound in the bus and voices of people. 0:40 - the sound of the bus announcer telling the next destination in portuguese, cantonese and putonghua. 1:32 - bus door opens and people walking out and the sounds now is different in outside. On the way to university, you could hear vehicles, people talking, key chains, footsteps and the sound of the gates opening and closing. You will also hear at the someone pressing the button for the elevator. Key sounds: key chain, vehicles, people.
