Inserting, reading, launching a program, and ejecting a dvd-r in a usb disc drive (repackaged "hp dvdram gu90n" laptop drive) with the occasional rumble of a 2tb 7200rpm internal hard drive (in an enclosure) and mouse clicks. Computer fan may be audible in background. Contains seek noises. Recorded on blue yeti in omnidirectional mode and denoised in rx 8 (drive whine re-enhanced though as noise removal made it quieter). Labels added to audio in fl studio edison.

An old hard drive starting up. The idle sound is from the hard drive itself and not the computer's fan noise. Some minor editing has been done to remove a slight bass rumble from the computer's fan. Recorded on sony pcm-a10.

Lots of electrical noise. I got this sound using an aux cable from my laptop to a broken 3. 5mm to 5. 25mm adapter to my mixer. Noises were generated by my fingers scrubbing around the laptop's trackpad and clicking keys on the keyboard. Also my air conditioner is generating a constant noise. Every few minutes there is a neat glitchy sound, i'm guessing it's from some data being processed on the laptop. .

Electronic feel sounds like a half man half robot or machine at work.

This one is taken in a library while one of the recorders tapes a mechanical pencil against the wood table. Stereorecorded with h4n.

A short alarm followed by a beep, which sounds like a missile locking system being used. To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect. Went to download a hearing test audio from youtube and got this really creepy sound instead. Sounds like some angry computer being possibly tumblr screaming 'go away' before it swallows you whole. Enjoy.
