I've bought this bamboo flute back in a days at the street market in kiev for some cents. It doesn't have certain scale or even clean pitches so has more decorative function in my room, still sounds interesting.

Here's my second flute reel for the make noise morhpagene. This is how far i've came over the past few months in my playing and despite a few slip ups here and there i'm quite pleased with how i'm able to make it sound now. This choro music shows the typical improvisation style of the choro players. The music is a variation of the ancient folk theme of northern part of Rio de Janeiro state called "Dança da Urubu" also called "Urubu Malandro", "Samba do Urubu" or "O Urubu e o Gavião". Flute: Pixinguinha (recorded in 1930).Português: Esta gravação mostra o típico estilo de improvisação do choro. A música é uma variação da música folclórica chamada "Dança do Urubu", oriunda do norte do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. I don't have a modular system to speak of but after watching some of divkids videos i realised my xiao could sound really nice in an ambient eurorack setup. Anyway, here's a few improv sections on my flute, only been playing 4 weeks so pardon the few bum notes. Make of it what you will but would love to hear what people come up with. Concertina loops on the way after it's been serviced.
