Here is the sound of a 50-caliber barrett rifle being fired. You'll first hear the sound of the bolt being pulled back. Really cool sound if you can listen on some nice big speakers. Recorded with my handy zoom h4n using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. I was standing about 20 feet from the rifle, and i still have the input gain turned way down to about 30, just to make sure the circuitry was not overloaded. Also, since this was in a big, wide-open field, you get a nice echo.

A possibly useful sound effect for a futuristic laser rifle. I combined the sounds of a desert eagle, sharp explosion, laser and a power down effect to create this sound. Enjoy! this is my first upload here.

I recorded a clay trap firing a disc for a project.

7 total gunshots from a distance with long echo trail. This was my neighbor shooting at his pond so there are ambient noises of bugs and birds in the background but the shots are nice and clear if you need them.

This is a homemade sound recording. I used sound effects created by myself and put them together in this recording. It is supposed to represent a shooting range, with the sounds of a. 50 cal anti-materiel rifle, an m16 on 3-rounds burst, a desert eagle. 50 ae, and a 9 mm pistol. Features loading sounds as well.

Use it for anything you want.

This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.

A rifle being dropped on the floor 3 times. Very metallic-y sounding drop sound with tons of bass. This one was sort of a happy accident. I was recording some ak foley with an airsoft gun i had when i accidentally dropped it. The sound it made turned out so good that i ended up using it for this. This one is an attempt to replicate the ww2 enfield bolt action rifle the british used through world war 1 all the way to world war two and is even still used in some paramilitaries today. I used mostly recordings of the actual enfield rifle and just stacked them together, processed them with eq and multiband compression and several transient designers to bring out the snap and attached a reverb tail to it. Made this in ableton live.
