It's nearly impossible to find sound effects of someone handling an instrument and not playing it. . . At least it was until i uploaded this!. This was an acoustic guitar, but can be pitched up or down for similar smaller or bigger instruments. There's rubbing, knocking, and gliding fingers over the strings. No need to credit me. The sound of a heavy-duty electric variable speed drill, starting, stopping and varying speed.

Amount of sounds recorded on the field : a construction site of a power plant where i worked. Sounds of tools and electrical devices, some motors, ventilation, people talking, metallic sounds (pieces of metal structures, doors, pipes which i played drums with), sounds of shoes with rubber outsole. Sounds mostly from the inside and a bit outside. Sometime the quality is not the best as i hid my recorder.

A silly little instrumental i made a while ago.

Sampled sound recorders alto yamaha yra-302biii (production in japan) processed reverb program wavelab 6. Sample recorded using a condenser microphone, oktava mk-220 and sound card m-audio 18/14 firewire.

I created this instrumental while i was messing around on audacity one day and i actually used it to record a song called "erbie bowser" feel free to look it up on youtube. The instrumental includes whistles, claps and a voice loop all performed by myself. The only un-authentic part added was a risset drum. Feel free to use this for whatever i request that you give me credit if you chose to do so.

This is a song produced by an astronomical clock. That thing was full of complex mechanism including gears. This is a song which is produced at the end of a cycle. Hope you can do something with it. Licence cc, enjoy !.

Recorded on an early summer day in poland, very close to a construction site of a big apartment block at the coast of puck bay with my tascam dr 22, you will hear even the clicking of the big power switches of a crane that swung by from time to time :-).
