I've created this punch for my project by layering a lot of sounds together. Feel free to use it :). Comments and ratings welcome :).

Foley of hand hitting a wooden wall. Recorded with xy mic on zoom h5. Sound is processed with compressor, multi band compressor, hpf eq and a limiter.

A bunch of sounds of hitting various parts of body or furniture. Useful for fight sounds, but you will have to edit it out.

Hitting knives against other knives.

Take 1. A knife rubbed against a cheese slicer in order to create the effect of a sword being drawn from a sheath. This was recorded for the purpose of a college project. Repeated falls on dirt, no human noises. Recording has a lot of texture.

I woke up to what sounded like cats screaming somewhere in the dark outside under my window, must have been quite the fight.

Training before kempo (japanese martial art) combat. Close and far punches with gloves, background voices, breathings, foots sliding. Recorded in méxico city with a zoom h4n pro internal mics, x/y configuration at 120 degrees, in the corner of the training area. If you use this sound, i would like to see or hear what did you do with it.

Another poster at this site posted this series of sounds as a string. I edited using audacity to get each sound isolated from the other.

My very first upload. A small sample taken from nyb 11. Mp3, and fettled up slighty. Not the greatest, but for what i intend to use it for, it will do nicely :).
