Recorded with zoom h2 at 96 khz / 24-bit. Edited and converted to flac using audacity, otherwise unprocessed. Midway through recording i have lowered my gain setting from hi to mid to avoid clipping. Some background noise (fridge) is left in for noise removal. I prefer to get raw audio from freesound i can process myself - gives me maximum options, that's why i deliver the same. It's a recording of a modern portable cash register printing a daily report. Then the paper tape is ripped of. There are funny frequency effects caused by the paper tape getting longer and resonating different frequencies. The sound have not beet piped through any processing. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2's rear mics. Originally 96khz/24-bit wav. Edited and converted to flac using audacity.

One of a series of foley recordings i made by sticking a piece of contact (sticky plastic of the kind you use to cover books) to a wall and tearing various household objects off it. The idea was to make a fairly comprehensive collection of rips and tears with varying timbral qualities that i could use to design ui sounds effects. Recorded with a rode nt1 into a universal audio arrow. This sound comes from a plastic candy wrapper.
