A short (but somewhat loopable) recording from an animal shelter of cats and kittens mewling/meowing as loudly as they can with dogs barking in the background. These are cries of, "pay attention to me!" and not of physical distress beyond the need to be touched and played with.

I recorded this outside during lunch while there were many people around me. You will hear a variety of conversations throughout the soundwalk, and if you listen close enough you can hear some very interesting things.
Me overdubbed 14 times trying to get that sort of "heave ho, row them oars!" type sound for a song. Not so much "heave-ho" but a fast "hee-haa-whoo" yell. In tempo at 145bpm. 24-bit stereo.
