The friday call to prayer in the old city of jerusalem recorded from the mount of olives. I only had a cheap digital audio recorder with me and processed the file using audition noise reduction tools. For uploading the file was compressed using quicktime. It's attenuated but i kind of like it.

I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

I've recorded several variations of piano riffs, but left in the 4 best ones. It was difficult for me to remove the key tapping, so i left some key tapping alone at the end, if you want to try to remove it from the riffs.

A flock of sheep (150-200 animals) in the middle of the park "englischer garten" in munich. Used regularly there as lawn mowers. Slowly approaching, surrounding me in the end of the recording. Vocalisations from young and old animals, as well as movement in the gras.

From 1:00-2:00in the sky a long way behind me and to the left, but somewhat far in the air, a group of birds are fighting above a large group of trees that are shaped like a ball of veins. Most of the birds are crows, or just black birds; each noise they make is a series of “caws” no different from each other in pitch, tone, or frequency. There's also the sound of 3 small birds directly to my right around 5 meters away from me, making loud but shrill chirping sounds. The birds are each the same size but and are hopping around the perimeter of a cactus right behind them. The wind blows onto the right side of my body and the front of my body. Waves from the ocean are crashing directly behind me, each in long sessions. The way they sound is consistent, like the sound of rain. Occasionally one of the waves will crash, increasing in volume but not in pitch or tone.

First half is dry in that no extra effects apart from eq are used; second part of the loop is actually two copies of the same loop with one of them containing extreme compression after some unison (detuning) and ~30ms delay. You can use this commercially with proper crediting, but please let me know where and how you use it - seeing this used will really make me happy. :).

It's a recording of me taking some vitamin pills (3xrutinoscorbin). You can hear me taking the box, opening it, pulling out the blister, poping out the pills, putting the blister back into the box, closing the box, throwing it away, taking the pills into my mouth, taking a glass of water, dringing water, swallowing pills, putting the glass on the table, and breathing out. There is much background noise, bu it's static and i leaved a clear sample so you can denoise this. Recorded with a zoom h2 into ardour daw. Originally 4800khz/16-bit wav. Converted to flac with ardour.

Sound of a person who’s walking down and up wooden stairs. It’s a “panoramic” sound, the mic was located in the middle of the stairs. Sound recorded with a zoom h4n pro. Son d’une personne descendant et montant un escalier en bois. C’est un son « panoramique » (stéréo), le micro était placé au milieu de l’escalier. Son enregistré avec un zoom h4n pro. I made a saw wave and put some flanger and paulstretch effects to it on audacity and made this synth-like saw wave inspired by the saw wave sample from the ps1 startup sound. If you want to put a loop to this sound, it's 67109 to 84907 on openmpt. Do whatever you want with this (like sounds or music) and credit me if you want as pk superstar256 (in a fan project) or ismo-kun games (in a commercial project). Yes, you can use this in things that can make you money, just don't make money off of this sound of its entirety in unedited form. Author's notes: "honestly, it sounds like a overdriven/distorted guitar to me. ".

These are not squeaks of pain! no rats were harmed! if you own rats, you know that they are very greedy when it comes to food, and will actually yell at you if you try to take it. Here are my two rats, rem and ezio, eating some bread, and me chasing them around with my hand to get them to squeak. They were not happy with me. So these squeaks basically mean, "no! my food! get away!" it's kinda cute. Sorry it's horrible quality, little rat voices are very soft. The squeaks that sound like painful squeaks are rem, and the more whiny ones are ezio. It's funny how they have distinct voices just like humans. Eeeeeeeeyup. Annoyed rats.

It's actually both a p-bass and a doublebass to make the bass fat. Added some "plingalings" and stuff too. Would suit anything a bit scary.
