Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. This was created using ableton and contains the following sounds:a dog growlinga lion roara horse gruntingan elephant vocalisinga flamethrower sound. All sounds used were obtained from royalty free websites and manipulated using software so that the original samples are not identifiable. The combining, layering and processing of the sounds were all done by myself within my daw. I hope those of you who find this are able to make great use of it. It's just me growling in my microphone and i pitched it an octave. Its basic and i didn't add to many effects so it can be adapted to any environment.

When i first got my olympus ws-310m, i showed it to my little brother who is 18. I hit record and handed it to him. He looked at it for a second and when i told him it was recording, he made this sound. I used my olympus ws-310m for this recording.

Processed recordings of dragon a chair across a wooden floor.

I did this by tuning my voice as low as i could get it and recording it. Then i slowed the voice down to 0. 400, instead of using the paulstretch. I, again, did this with audacity and used my laptop to record it. Pretty good, i think.

Just me making some horrible noises with my mouth, and then putting them on the internet, like a normal normal human.

This sound is a simple recording of my self roaring and manipulated with cs6 audition. I used this with some feedback based delay and some reverberation to simulate the sound of a dinosaur dying in a game.

This was a sound originally created for a "shadow demon" monster for an animated series. It is a voice sample with some heavy alterations. Enjoy.

I was messing around with some voice effects and somehow ended up with this growl. It sounds like a noise a dinosaur or dragon would make. Or like a clicker from "the last of us. "also, if you slow it down, it sounds like wood creaking. Let me know if it's useful for you, hope it makes for some good sound design with whatever you're doing. I'm excited to hear what you do with this sound if you do use it.
