Recorded with a zoom h1 n. It's a high tide and the waves are slowly lapping at the kelp strewn sandy beach. Recorded at rathtrevor beach, vancouver island, on the salish sea. There was a dog barking in the far distance, edited out. I also edited the ending with a fade out.
I don't know what combination of (free (as in beer)) vsts, ni komplete audio 2 interface, and behringer pro~1 synth produced this but i thought it was very soothing and definitely worth sampling!. The bass note at the beginning is f# if you want to use that as well ;). Was going to wait to upload a samplepack after i finish these 3 albums/compilations but this is just too good to sit on. Note to would-be producers: this is what mindset you get into after burning the candle at both ends buyer beware :upside_down_face:.

It can be heard the metal scrapping coming from de bridges that serve as points of embarking for the boats that cross the tejo river between lisboa and cacilhas, close by waves splashing against the shore and boats sound signalling. City sewer outflow to the baltic sea in gdynia, poland. Outflow dry, zoom h4n's internal mics placed 30 cm inside a sewer outflow (about 1m diameter) directly to the sea. No editing whatsoever. If you're as sick as me, you could hear the waves coming in and out of this tight pipe. . .

Gentle sea wash recorded on at the beach about half an hour away from my house. The audio was captured with a high quality sennheiser shotgun microphone (i forget the model sorry) into a tascam dr100. This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Surround recording of a 700hp dual-engine bavaria motor yacht cruising on the adriatic sea. The recorder is suspended in front of the vessel, recording the waves hitting the keel. The recording was done with a zoom h2. This file contains the rear channels, recorded with 120° dispersion.
Large, creaking wooden ship sailing on the ocean. The creaks are recordings from my wooden (very creaky) house. I live at the sea, so that part (the waves) was easy.
