Needed a zimmer frame / walker sound for a radio play, so used a tripod!. Recorded with a rode lapel mic. First half has just the zimmer, 2nd half has slippered footsteps as well.

A second attempt at recording the deep mud i keep finding myself walking through each morning on walthamstow marshes. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics (connected to a bent wire clothes hanger and positioned about 30cm above my feet). Processing: normalize -1. 0db, low cut filter 100hz, minor noise reduction to reduce background traffic/train noise. I do not require any credit or attribution. I cobbled some sound effects together to get the sound of footsteps on a rickety metal staircase for the third episode of bloody bold irresolute. It can also work for bridges.

I recorded this while searching for farm sounds. On the recording you can hear footsteps in the grass, then the opening of the latch in the gate to the field and then further steps. This short recording was made during a sound search in the scotish border area of scotland. I recorded on the zoom h5 handy recorder, i used superlux headphones.
