This is my first time ever recording ambiance, i used the tascam dr-40, please leave any notes and suggestions on how i can better make these ambient recordings. This one is overdone by experimenting with too many vst filters. . . ^-(. . . Urban ambience with local residents talking, some moderate, yet constant traffic, a plane at the end and featuring the sound of love. Includes people talking in the background, some distant cars, a church bell, one or two planes about to land, people opening and closing the back door. As special appearance, there is someone having a joyful time (or -less probable- screaming of pain repeatedly) throughout the whole lenght of the recording. It's recess time at san lorenzo de el escorial's real colegio alfonso xii's boarding school, madrid, spain. Children are playing games, mainly soccer, on escorial monastery's front esplanade, apparently used as a schoolyard. High pitched voices blend with bypasser's conversations. Putting aside the fact that we're on a world heritage site, this could also be your regular park where youngsters gather any afternoon. Recorded with a sony pcm-d50'stereo mics with wind muff.
