Grabación realizada en el zócalo de la ciudad de méxico, en julio 2019. Se escucha un tambor tradicional mexica (huéhuetl) y el rumor de la gente en la plaza. When i came to the strange decision to try recording my poems as songs i looked for ambience around the house. Silver tube inset in wood with mallet to create different singing bowl like effect.

This is a drum sample i created with a $20. 00 mic, audacity, and a drum i made from high-fire stoneware.

Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds. Some of them alone, some of them combined. Recorded mono with a zoom h2n thru the machine's "amp" output.
