Sound design that i made for a video game,layered a bunch of sounds and processed them to create an impactful sci-fi sound. This one is a spaceship door opening.

Recording from my balcony in venice, italy in the morning. You can hear local residents preparing their breakfasts. Some italian speech. Seagulls. Nearby boats from the marina. Cicadas. Doors and windows opening. A carpenter works from a distance.

Taken at the delta airlines terminal at los angeles international airport. I used a tascam dr-07 mkii recorder. It was approximately 12pm and i was seated in the waiting area indoors. To my right but also behind me were the boarding gates for the airplanes. I used wavepad for osx to boost the volume.

Opening a big loft door from the ceiling and unfold the wooden ladder. Climbing slowly upstairs and downstairs, folding the ladder again and closing the squeaky door. A second version of climbing upstairs width man shoes is included at the end.

After a few minutes, door is closed, i let you hear the difference, and we’re done. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 at about 5 am. Converted to mp3 with command “lame --preset extreme” since it’s rather huge. Not normalized; lame reports a playback gain of +21 db.

Since i have been lowing low on things to record i have been starting to record while i'm at school and it is working. The good thing is know one will know i am recording because i am using my audacity recorder on my laptop. I hope you enjoy my newest sounds.

It includes a very cute voiced lady doing the automated buss announcements, as well as the beeping of the door while it opens and closes. The trains speed is around 50 to 80 km/h as it was driving in side a city.

One of the squeakiest metal doors i've ever encountered. Recorded in a sparse, tiled bathroom with the zoom h6. Many different creaks and squeaks to choose from.

This is version 2 of my 3 knocking on a door sound i used audacity to edit it and i recorded it with my yeti microphone. I thought that you could use it too. Use it for what ever you want but if you make over 1 million dollars off you aaa game / movie than you share the wealth lol but i would like to know what you use it for that is it credit would be nice but not necessary.

Does this sound need a description?. Noticed that my door was quite loud - so i recorded some sounds of it with my phone close to the moving parts of the door.
