Recently, i have been playing "the last stand legacy collection" and got inspired to create some of my own zombie sound effects. These are all created by me from my own voice. This is free for anyone and credit is not needed. I do recommend giving credit in your usage so that others can find these sound effects as well. A monster roar in the distance. Was made using laptop microphone, and recorded and modified using audacity. Recorded 16/12/2014.

5 individual sounds created for a cyclops monster in a project that was cancelled before any real sound design could begin. This sound was created by recording various vocal noises and importing them into pro tools. Each vocal take was then pitch shifted down by -24 semitones and duplicated into 4-5 layers. These layers were processed individually using techniques such as reverse reverb, distortion and eq to emphasise different aspects of the creature's roar. The final sound is a result of all these layers playing simultaneously.

The sound was made from a one siring instrument called the autoviolin. I made and recorded it in 1980, and am now fiddling with the computer to clean up the sounds before they are lost. Processed with paulstrech.
