This is a short audio recording of someone cutting a very thick freshly-baked sourdough bread on a wooden cutting board in a big modern open home kitchen.

Six recordings of me dropping planks onto bricks, which clatter as they hit the ground. I recorded this a while ago with my phone and decided to polish them up a bit. I used audacity and ozone imager to widen the stereo image. Recorded late 2018 or early 2019 with a samsung galaxy j2 pro.

Although this sound is completely free to use without credit, i would appreciate it if give me credit if you happen to use this sound.

This sound was made by wiggling one cutting board against another to create a sound of wood colliding each other when dropped as they touch the ground. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

Various sounds of a carrot chopped into small pieces. The carrot lies on a wooden chopping board. There are also sounds, where you can hear how slices are moved on the board using the knife. All sounds in the pack "kitchen sounds 2022" were recorded with the zoom h6 and the xyh-6 microphone module. The sound was recorded at 96khz with 24bits. I limited the postprocessing to cutting and small gain adjustments. Also, i grouped similar sounds into larger files for easier handling and sound comparison. This was recorded at a home and hardware chain store. Along with the general ambiance, a recorded announcement comes over the speaker, requesting that a qualified employee is needed in the "board-cutting area".
