I recorded the sound of a thunderstorm from behind a screen door.

The sound of heavy rain on the metal casing of an air conditioner. Also some soft thunder and my dad clanking around in another room. Recorded 4 miles north of lisbon, oh during a june 16 thunderstorm. I recorded this with my cad u1 usb mic and my toshiba laptop using audacity.

Heavy rain i recorded from my bedroom window. Besides the rain, you also hear the water dripping from the roof. There's one loud thunder in it, and a handful of farther, quieter ones. Recorded using an audio-technica atr2500-usb microphone.

Regular and continuous rumbling thunder. I stood at my back door and recorded the storm as it rolled by. No huge thunderclaps or lightning strikes, but a steady stream of flashes and rumbling that followed. If you need a prolonged active storm backdrop, this is it. Recorded on a tascam dr-40. Rain with light thunders inbetween. At 0:17 a girl ran through the rain. After that you can only hear the rain, thunder & cars. It was recorded indoors so it is a bit muffled. Maybe good for a indoor scene?.

I opened my window and set the mic next to it during a thunderstorm. There's a thunder clap near the beginning that is loud and peaks the levels.

Just managed to turn on the zoom h6 in time to record this thunder from the back yard. Manchester, uk. 17/06/2020.

A recording of a thunderstorm using my zoom h4n from my front porch. The clip starts toward the tail end of the storm, and the thunder and rain slows down throughout. Starting in the middle and towards the end of the clip, there's even some birds and forest frogs in the background. A few cars drove past, and they can be heard as well.

On 8th of june 2013 thunderstorms developed above pécel, small town in hungary in the afternoon. The greatest part is recorded by my sony stereo dictaphone. Unfortunately some of my neighbours were talking too and can be heard in the recording.

Nine minutes of a strong thunderstorm with heavy rain and frequent thunder, recorded on the back patio of my house. Recorded with an iphone 4, then converted to wav 48hz. The quality is pretty good. You don't hear any cars or other background noise, just lots of rain and thunder.
