Very loud recording of an arcade i went to recently. Unfortunately wasn't alone so i had to cut it down quite a bit. It's in crusty mono quality because of my phone (moto g power) and its recorder app (ez voice recorder) but i suppose i can call it lo-fi if i wanted to. So i will!.

An image was created to sound using sonicphoto. . Google it. . Free version is what i used, then went into ableton did some eq adjustments, probley didn't even do anything. But o well. Added some fades to make the sound more enjoyable.

The hens slowly realize the reality of their situation and return to their scavenging. You produce a deep clucking bellow -- one last attempt to reach them. But it's too late, the hens pay you no mind. It is time to go.

Today, we will debunk this controversy by looking at the influence of rhetoric.

I combined a lot of fx from this site to make a huge explosion with a large aftermath and ringing in the ears- to make it a more 'cinematic' moment, i have a build up in reverse to the moment, a pause, then the explosion. Rubble and glass fall as the listeners' ears ring from the explosion.

I wanted to record the sound of a keyring - or rather the keys strapped to it - make while in mid-air. There are the keys audible, recorded hitting the stack of hay (soft landing) and air blowign into the mics while the recordied has high velocity. I was throwing my recorer with my left hand, while simultaneously throwing my keyring with my right hand. The throw was vertical and the landing zone was a pile of hay. I thing there are some interesting sound here, i'm uploading it unedited to make it possible to cut out whatever you like. Recorded with a flying zoom h2 at 48khz/24-bit, edited, nomalized and converted to flac using audacity.

One of my brothers came by spontaneously to say hello and he slammed the door behind him hahah. It was non-aggressive of course, the door is heavy and has to be slammed in order for it to be properly closed !. Little did my bro know that i was recording and that i managed to catch the door slam !. The house was dark, empty and quiet - he wondered wtf was going on lol. It sounds a bit distant, it's because i was in the bedroom and not in the entrance. This sound is natural too, which is perfect. Sparrows flying from branch to branch in a bare rose bush. Unintentional capture of sound as i was just out walking testing new equipment. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Recently we purchased a scale from ikea, when we finally got around to using it we realized that it must be off, as i do not weigh 240 lbs. As we did not have a receipt, or the desire to drive 2 hours to return a $10 scale the only course of action left to me was to take the damn thing apart and record its insides. (what else?). I recorded and edited together around 7 and a half minutes of various configurations and performances of me making some sort of repetitive, engine-like sound. I can foresee myself using these sounds for an old-timey engine or car. Recorded with a rode ntg-3 at 96/24.

Lazer sound. I made this lazer sound with the use of operator in ableton as well as adding a few effects to help round it out. I started with a basic sine wave and then began to adjust the frequency range to cut out some of the low end of the sound and enhance the high end to make it more realistic and movie accurate. I also had to shorten the decay time so it is more of a short zap sound than a prolonged note. Another step was giving it an initial high pitched sound and this was achieved by having the sound start higher up the scale with semitones and then dropping down giving the effect of shooting and something traveling from the source sound.

I made a saw wave and put some flanger and paulstretch effects to it on audacity and made this synth-like saw wave inspired by the saw wave sample from the ps1 startup sound. If you want to put a loop to this sound, it's 67109 to 84907 on openmpt. Do whatever you want with this (like sounds or music) and credit me if you want as pk superstar256 (in a fan project) or ismo-kun games (in a commercial project). Yes, you can use this in things that can make you money, just don't make money off of this sound of its entirety in unedited form.
