This is a glass shower screen being cleaned with a squeegee. I recorded it as it sounds a bit like someone trying to play a saxophone badly. As raw material it could easily be processed into a number of interesting sounds.
These are field-recordings of glass bottles breaking when thrown in a container. The sounds were recorded with a zoom field recorder and a cardoid microphone.
A large belgian beer goblet favoured for gin and tonic chez moi. Recorded in mono with an akg 414, fredenstein mic amp, rme fireface interface into pro tools.
Raw, unedited recording of shot glasses clinking together. This track has not been cleaned up, so be warned, you will hear bits of talking between takes. Recorded using a sampson usb microphone directly into adobe audition.
Some wine bottles clinking from a rack in a grocery store. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in adobe audition. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.
I used for this second sound a pencil, a glass bottle and glasses. I typed with a different rhythm glasses and bottle with the pencil. I have then to make various effects: i changed the tempo and the height, added the effect " graphic " and " delay " then a dissolve in closure.
