A few steps on a dirt field.

Here is a short recording with my new olympus dictaphone noise at night in the countryside. Recording made in the south of france to 10:00 pm.

A fairly decent recording -- in my opinion --- of wind blowing through oak tree branches and rattling dead leaves. Recording made on saturday april 6th, 2013 using my zoom h4n recorder. My microphone, rode nt2, was mounted inside my homemade parabolic reflector. Enjoy.

*** please rate this sound if you download and like :-) ***. This is a common dance sweep generated only with a white noise filtered with ableton's "auto-filter". It lasts exactly 16 bars at 120 bpm. This fx has no effects inside, you can get excelent sounds by adding on it flangers, phasers, choruses, delays, reverbs, sidechain from kick and so on. . .

It's not rain but sounds like rain - fog and damp settling in the trees as a breeze blows. Recorded in the fields above my home in the fog and damp - so sounds amplified and 'hollow'. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. Rustling leaves can also be made out. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish. No conditions.

One of my favorite sounds is that of leaves skittering across a street on a crisp fall day. . . This, however, is elusive and tricky to record. However, here is a recording that i made this past friday october 19th, 2012 in a small town in southern illinois. It's not perfect, but i'm happy with it. Recording made at night as a cold front is moving in, using a zoom h4n recorder and my trusty rode n-tg-2 shotgun microphone. Enjoy. Kvgarlic.

Recorded with sennheiser 8020 in a self made jecklin disk setup to sounddevices 477. Movo wst80 windprotection. I erased the few passing cars but otherwise no filtering. There is of course a lot of low energy which could be filtered or used. . .

Although there are a lot of birds in the forests at this time of year, they were quiet today. A nice, peaceful, soothing snapshot of summer----recorded just 4 weeks after the solstice here in the northern hemishpere. Temp: 84 degrees fhumidity: 51%. I recorded myself winding up an old wall-clock in my living room to use in a song. I used the built-in microphone in an ipad, re-recorded to cubase, added a bit of compression, a gate, and a limiter. It's a stereo file, but the sound is mono.
