This is my recording of a antique/vintage 1920's-1940's telephone picking up and hanging up. Recorded at the military aviation museum in 1341 princess anne rd, virginia beach, va 23457 during the summer of 2021.

Low crowd murmur and bell ring.

Seal barks and jumps into water; bird calls.

Mutant whispering; deep & growling.

Creature scream (parrot?).

Table clock chiming; then alarm.

Cardiac arrest alarm (1 khz square wave).

Electrical arcing and sparking.

Metal armor helmet open & close; hinges and clanks.

Comic battle cries and deaths in bad french.

Low and ominous sound; gathering storm; paramount.

Rain on a flat roof.

Experimenting with detuning the oscillators on the monstrous oberheim ob-8 analogue synthesizer. Would love to hear your re-purposing of it!.

Vintage cash register, with crank, bell and till opens.

Living room clock.

Type writing machine sound.

Recording tape hiss from a blank tape with denon dn-720r tape recorder and player with focusrite scarlett 2i4.

Vintage style telephone ring recorded with a tascam dr-40 and condenser mics.

A classic computer lab sound according to people who have never actually used a computer. Made with sun ra in mixcraft 7.

A wall-mounted rotary phone in my house being operated. The numbers 1-9 are dialed, followed by 0. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in adobe audition. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.

It's a sound of a casette when is getting in of a player.

Load and shoot sound. Recorded with rode videomic rycote and tascam dr-05.

Buzzing bone.

Sound of stones.

Started as a ancient civ like background music for a game.

Vcv rack loops recorded into a tascam multitrack tape cassette.

Five jets fly by at medium speed and medium height. Last has long out.

Small airport or airfield. Several prop planes taxi, takeoff, land, and idle.

Door buzzer or phone ringing. Small, high pitched, buzzy vibrating bell sound with lower tone underneath. Intermittent rings.

Slow deep tick tock from within a wooden clock. Could be used for a pendulum swing.

Turning of large ratchet. Could be used for cranking or winding. Or for comic wheels rolling.

80-100 crowd interior murmur.

Giant electrical discharges. From flash gordon's spaceship. Loud echoey booms with a vibrating hum, similar to an jet, following. Reverberant. Hum would also be great for a sci-fi score.

A motor starting up with a high whine. Then a steady hum and quiet chug. Shuts off at end and winds down quickly.

A super deep digital-analog bass loop using fl studio's sytrus, along with a vintage simulator plugin and some distortion. The chord progression is from jean michel jarre's equinoxe part 1.

Beach scene. Seagulls and wave sounds. Birds. Gulls.

Astrojet taxi. Loud roar and long whistle. Cuts in and out. Varying volume.

Noisy neutral interior space. A hint of voices. Short loop.

A man making growling noises for any large animal. Good for cartoons.

Close up crowd, with car noise in background. Male and female voices talking jovially. General rumble of conversation with some voices standing out on occasion. Laughing and conversing loudly.

Excellent trash can foley session. Squeaky, creaking noise. Lots of jostling around and metal sounds.

This effect is total junk, but i'm leaving it because it's beautiful and could be used for a noise, vintage, optical piece.
