Sounds of a ceramic coffee cup being hit with a steel spoon, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). I recorded this for my own sound design purposes (game sfx) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy!.

Ringing a bell.

A clear "ding", like an old elevator stopping on the right floor.

Fm bell for a request. Done in caustic 3 on the fm synth. Has a little longer decay than the example. But just adjust that on the sampler and you should be fine.

A drive threw bell that rings when a tire rolls threw and triggers the bell. H ad a buddy step on the wire to make multiple sounds to its not all the same. They had alot of fans going but with some eq, can be fixed.

A single ring of a medium-sized (brass?) ringing bowl with a soft mallet. Approximately g natural.

The ring. . . Ring sound of a mobile phone dialing in ireland. This was recorded directly from a phone and then cleaned up.

The actual bells of st stephen's cathedral (stephansdom) in vienna recorded in 2007 and atmosphere of stephansplatz. Unfortunately, i was late for the first ring. Recorded with tascam hdp 2 and neuann shotgun microphone.

A little melody played on a set of bells/xylophone cut up.

An artistic experiment searching for sound emissions and the limit of human hearing. Composed of infrasonic material that have a lot of harmonic distortion. Humans will be able to identify tones as low as 12hz. From 1000 hz the auditory system decreases. Natural and human produced infrasonic sounds is anywhere, all the time. The artistic idea was to use background noises, signal fidelity, harmonic distortion, low-frequency in order to foster a soundscape of infrasound that travels through space. Made for project that was never released. Think somebody might enjoy or use it.

The sound you hear after you dialed a number.

Early 1960's stromberg carlson 1543 rotary dial telephone ringing. Four rings with actual telco timing, recorded with zoom h4.

A mosquito ringtone 11kHz. Nice to put on your phones or computers and piss people off with. They wont know where the hell its coming from. Very high pitch ringing sound, sounds just like that ringing you get in your ear sometimes. Nice for pranks.

Bell tower of the basilica of the national shrine of the immaculate conception. Recorded on the catholic university of america campus with a zoom h2 in four channel surround mode. The front mikes faced the basilica. The rear mikes were fairly close to a building and captured an off axis recording of the original peals while the reflection off the building was on axis and is louder than the original peal. The two files can be combined for a surround image.

240v under-dome bell, recorded on reduced voltage to avoid distortion. Used as a part of a prison atmosphere. Recorded with a rhode ntg-2 mic.

An 80s fixed car phone ringtone, but a semi-tone higher pitch.

I have recorded the sound of my tuning fork on my flask. That's look like a ring bell. I applied a whawha effect on my recording and i reversed the sens of the sound.

Stereo. Jingly, rattly attack with nice compound ringing aftertone. Made with the tines of a hand tiller. Stereo, at4045 and 4050.

Ping from a cheap bike bell.

This is the sound of the short part of guitar strings plucked over the headstock, between the nut and tuning pegs. They do not make for any particular sounds, harmonies or melodies, just random tones which may be used for some sound design, noises, jingles etc. I recorded this for my own purposes (game sfx) with 3 different guitars (see the other 2 files as well) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy! ;).

I didn't record an elevator/airplane. Just took a "beep" sound and edited it a little. Made in audacity.

Bike bell ring.

The sounds of the lasts moments of a school day. (recordings permitted by the teacher).

Basilica san marco bells with some ambient crowd chatter.

Knife sliding against the sink creating a unique vibrating ding. Long or short depending on the slide of the knife. Recorded with iphone 6s.

Four rings from a cellphone recorded through the bridge pickup of a fender strat (single coil), then processed heavily.

Various hits of a stainless steel drinking bottle half filled with water, some clumsier than others.

A large exercise ball being inflated using an accordion-style hand pump, which produces a whistling sound as air is forced into the nearly full rubber type ball. There is a reverb to the ringing of the air as it spreads in the ball.

Ringing bowls scraped on metal door. Long, slow, reverberant rolling scrapes, slow at first but accelerating towards the end.

I modified the attack and cut the silence at the beginning and the end. Masse:groupe tonique. Timbre harmonique:clair et creux. Grain:assez rugueux. Allure:pas de vibrato mais la cuillère vibre un peu dans le fond. Dynamique:attaque progressive et redescente pour finir. Profil mélodique:pas de mélodie mais un rythme irrégulier. Profil de masse:changement des niveaux au début et à la fin.

Sound of a normal reception bell, rang twice.
