Weird sound made with garageband.

The upload spree continues! this time i've got another sci-fi sound. The title says it all, folks. It can also be used for not only a robot malfunction sound effect, but a machine glitching sound perhaps. I made ti with a corrupt audio file. I got a part of it, and simply pitch shifted it down, and faded it out at the end.

Picture yourself being abducted by a highly advanced alien race, you're trapped inside one of their crafts, being far far away from earth at this point, i guess this is a soundscape that reminds me of it, created by experimenting with various free plugins including dtblkfx and thesis2b, both amazing tools on their own, more than capable of giving you glitchy squelchy hi-tech sounds.

Some sort of synthesized wind noise. Sound created with the korg electribe 2 using several instances of filtered white noise. The filters are resonant and modulated. Recorded on a canon d550 camera. I live near a water tower built into a hill and firework displays cause a strange echo as the shock wave passes through. Listen to the first burst of bangs and there is a faint sound of "gravel falling into water". I suppose the frequency of the explosion is reverberating in the air gap in the water tower. There is a second burst of fireworks which are far away. Traffic from the a3 road is audible.

10 minutes of old school tension or horror sound. An ever changing sound generated by a analog modular synth. It's a generative patch controlling the synth and the sound development. The reverb is a spring-reverb. No editing. Pick the part that fits you best. Or just listen and listen to what the synth is doing. . . I have my fav part!.

This emulates the ambient noise of a planet sized computer and its associated gargantuan processes. I aimed for a "what if" scenario. What if v'ger could speak to other similar artificial entities of enormous size and complexity. Originally recorded on zoom h2. The sound was originally a styrofoam take-out container which i pressed down on and released several times. I then filtered it.

This track is perfect for a film trailer which hits several "reveals" within it. It was originally recorded on a zoom h2 of a glass bottle being hit while suspended in the air. After some modifications, you have this track, ready for your next film trailer. Like all my sounds, you don't need to mention me as the creator, but if you make a million from it, an open bar at any parties you hold would be nice. (-=.

My first little attempt at making some film-like sound effects. Alot of bass in this one, tried to cut it below 30-50hz. I just want to point out to the people having a listen, that the sample that streams on the website has a small static-like noise in it. . The download version will not have this noise, i believe the compression for streaming degraded the sound a bit.
