This sound is 50 ms, 2000 hz pure tone with double linear fadeout through it's whole length. Sampling rate of 8 khz is already an overkill (nyquist frequency is at 4 khz, while all energy of this sound is present in narrow 2 khz frequency range). I visited a hotel that was very quiet, so i decided to record my short elevator ride coming down about five floors.

This is pressing keys on my hyperx fps keyboard with cherry blue mechanical switches. Recorded with a lapel microphone and a phone.

A short soft whistle suitable for "onhover" mouse events when constructing various menus. Created using audacity, by applying a couple of filters and changing a pitch of a short whistle - my own whistle.
