I got into a small crawl space under a concrete road, which seemed to be an old sewage tunnel, and recorded the sound of a car driving overtop of me. It's a gentle rise and fall of a car engine. You can hear me let out my breath as the car drives away.

Getting in, starting, and driving my 2011 peugeot ion electric car. The door opens, i put on my seat belt, insert the key, start the vehicle (there's the ready-to-drive beep), i put the car in drive, release the parking brake, and drive away. A passing motorcycle on the freeway. Fade-in/out added to reduce wind and traffic noise. Slight low-mid attenuation to compensate for filtering caused by the freeway sound-barrier. Note: slowing this down results in a pretty neat foundation for a large aircraft. Recorder: zoom h1date & time: ?location: fremont, ca (usa).
