Sound generated using my voice, with reverb and delay then spliced together with some cricket sound.

I thought i record some breaths, tried to variate it a bit. For example there is an inhale and exhale with the yogic ujjayi breath and some other ones. I used some of these in drone pieces, they blend it pretty well. Thats unprocessed raw: just recorded direct into ableton 9 with zoom h2n.

Process: a while ago i worked on a game and recorded several sound effects, one track after another. With the session set up the way it was, i opened all the channels and selected a section and exported it. After exporting, i threw it into paulstretch, and rendered that at the default settings. Found this ancient mr. Coffee making these creepy sounds whilst brewing. I could get some decent "coffee brewing" sounds out of it, but the moaning and heavy breathing is what makes it. Recorded at high bit rate, so there's plenty there to manipulate into a sucking chest wound death rattle or whatever you're into. For zombie movies and scary movies :d i did that on my guitar i was going to use it for a zombie movie but we never did it but enjoy its yours.

The sound of a homemade uncoated piezo-contact mic being rubbed against a giant fan. Sounds kind of creepy and weird, and the rubber around the edge of the mic caused it to bounce and make a bouncy kind of sound. Neat! zoom h4n.

Diboz throws a piano at his annoyingly ticking watch, which is ruining his sense of timing. Created in flstudio 11 with lightly tweaked flkeys, flreverb2, jangly (almost tubular bells) wasp xt layers and a pitch bent formant for a bit of spookiness. The ticking noise and deep notes were generated by fiddling with morphine's presets. Caution: look at the waveform. Don't turn up the wick. This piece starts quietly but there's a sudden, loud, jump scare.
