I auto tuned a sound i previously recorded on my crappy phone. The original sound was created on fl studio. I used the autotune app called voloco on my phone and autotuned it.

I was messing around with my korg volca keys, and i liked this little section. The only problem is that i believe it only recorded into the left channel for some reason. I don't know why that happened, so unfortunately you will have to correct that, but it should be an easy fix in any sound editing program.

My first excursion into the ambient realm. My friends mimeophon, o-ctrl, morphagene, x-pan, erbe-verbe and the omnipresent clouds took me to somewhere i never thought i'd venture. Basically a very simple sound source, sped up and slowed down in segments, granulated and pasted back together. Quite a wet mix. Shake the drops off afterwards. . .

For the sound i would like to create like an "extraterrestrial signal", i took a "sifflet" and i play with it, add opening and closing effect, reverse the sens and finish the set with a battery sound to put a bit of "suspens". . .

This was made on ableton with nexus. It's a basic chord progression with a drone note. Gives me a super relaxed feeling when set with the beach or something. Created for fun to document the first test launch of the (fictional) falkon8 space rocket to take humanity to the rings of saturn. After the countdown the engines start. During liftoff, ground control engineers talk to the pilots to help keep the rocket on the right course. The launch crew and pilots are talking in a particular regional northeastern italian dialect. The mission launched from the san marco platform, italian "luigi broglio" space center.
