I was warming up the fireplace and the flame just really took off. It sounded really epic and sinister so i decided to record it. The menacing vibe was captured fairly well with the recording too i think.

The origin of this recording is a hob on the highest heat level recording slightly hot. Be very careful if you are doing this as fire is obviously detrimental to organic life and the microphone does not like to be on fire. An "acidized" (marked with loop/cue flags) sample. I imagine a furnace combusting away. Rate-shifting this sample (pitch/speed) can give you variations in your daw (digital audio workstation). This sample in particular feels appropriate for use as a background furnace sound or if sped up, a flamethrower.

This is a breathing sound that supposed to replicate what it sounds like in a heavy mask, like a gas mask, space suit, or whatever you want. Recorded with sony hdr pj260v then edited with audacity.

Here's a sound of me opening a beer can. The stages are separated, but you can edit them together if you want to have the initial pressure release and the rest of the procedure. Or you could take each part separately and make something completely unexpected from this recording.
