Recorded 5/20/11 at 10:43am on a bright sunny day in washington. Many crows were flying overhead and i recorded them on my ipod. The sounds in the background is not wind (although it sounds like it), but are cars slowly driving by about 100 yards away. The crows were directly above.

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. Many people died, but then one man grabbed a machine gun/knife and gunned down/chopped up the monster. ”i only used sounds from freesound. Org and edited and aranged them with reaper. This is what the result sounds like. (well in this uploaded version i removed the ripped spoken quotes from terminator because they were not from this website here :p). A recording i made walking around santa monica boulevard while people were setting up floats for the parade. I was staying in west hollywood for about a week-and-a-half, and the parade was right outside of my airbnb! recorded using a field recording app on my galaxy s5 phone in my shirt pocket. Middle school (ages 12-14) band of about 50 students preparing to make an audition recording in their school auditorium. Two akg c 414 b-uls multi-pattern large diaphragm condenser mics were placed about 10 feet (about 3 meters) above the ensemble on the far right and far left, with a røde nt4 stereo condenser mic at the same height located in the middle of the group. Recorded january 2019.

I'm using a wired karaoke microphone and recorded it on audacity. Clapping and people cheering are coming from my hands and my voice, respectively. Each clap is recorded manually (some are near the mic and some are far away) and as well as the cheering voice. I recorded it at my living room. Recorded and uploaded on december 2017. People clapping at first then audience praise at the last.

Here is a recording done during the fireworks of san juan at the beachof barcelona, spain. I was standing in front of the mapfre building, between the building and the sea to be exact. Fireworks were being launched behind me from the beach and their sound was reflected off of the building in front of me. The effect you hear are thereflections of the building. The building is shaped to visually reflect the city back onto the beach. Hence each floor has mirrors in a 45 angle downwards, all around the building (look it up on google for details). The sound must be coming from different points each located further away, creating a kind of discrete doppler effect, i suppose, although i am not yet 100% sure what exactly causes this. I am holding the microphone sideways, so you hear the explosions on your right ear and the reflection traveling to the left. In reality, you hear the explosion behind you and the reflection traveling up along the building. If you are ever in barcelona end of june during "san juan", you should check this out!. Recording done with my zoom h2n and its internal microphones. Hope you enjoy.
