Gunshot sound effect i made for a game i'm creating. Made using a bunch of impulses layered together and then editing the frequencies.

I needed a sound for an animation where a character was being shot out of a jet engine. I thought i share what i came up with.

Kick drum i created by processing a white noise waveform recorded from moog minimoog synth.

These are several cannon shots as recorded outside my window from an airshow at a nearby airport. The mic was a large diaphragm condenser modded by michael joly eng. Format is mono, 44. 1/24.

Short rim hit high.

Could be used as an effect for a suppressed machine pistol like an mp5 or ump 45. Sound is a dry fire of an air rifle recorded with a samsung hmx-f90 and edited with windows movie maker to achieve a high rate of fire effect.

Recorded this using samsung galaxy s3. It is me hitting a rim with a basketball a few times. Use it for whatever you want.

1903 springfield. 30-06 gun fired in a small intimate 535 seat theatre. Some noise reduction applied afterwards.

Fireworks in the distance aprox 800 meters.

Nerf strongarm reload and shoot sound effect.

Created with pure analog sounds from various drum machines and sinths, sampled with korg microsampler at 48 khz using the internal effects processor.

Drum shot sampled with a 16khz-12bit yamaha tx16w processed in the art-vla2 compressor and resampled with 48khz-16bit korg microsampler. 12 bit low sampling rate make the sound particular. . . Demo sounds included in the complete pack tx16w k16 drumkit.

Brake disk recorded with tascam dr-05 and vst effect.

Pouring liquid in a shot glass, picking it up, drinking & slamming it down (not too hard) on the table.

These sounds were recorded and edited by me! i would not copy an original work and distribute it! while the sounds are based on the among us death animation, when the imp slaps and shoots a crewmate, and timed the same, this is not intentionally copyright infringing, and i just wanted to make this i guess. Pistol fired outdoors with ricochet. Single shot, fairly close, with fast fadeout. Narrow stereo image, no panning, almost monophonic. Wholly synthesized. No weapon was fired in the making of this sound. It's an emulated sound effect of a sidearm gunshot with a cliche ricochet sound, like in the vintage western movies and ww2 films that they showed on tv when i was a kid. Can be used in a game, perhaps, or a none-too-serious vidclip. The sound of the pistol cartridge explosion is default flstudio kick, clap and snare slowed right down. A single tap of delay is added to lend an impression of echo off a middle distance hard surface. The ricochet noise was made with sytrus running as a vsti inside flstudio. It took an entire day of head scratching, oscillator tweaking and envelope mangling to get something that reasonably resembles a sound that i recall from the old movies. I think i'll shoot myself before i try something like this again. :). Plus the usual flstudio compressors, eq, reverb and delay - nothing tricky, just standard stuff.
