Inspired by ben croshaw's point 'n' click horror adventure games, i decided i'd try and see if i can make my own creepy whispers using audacity. This is basically some whispered lines and some really low-volume screams superimposed on one another, with some of these lines reversed. I made this on march 2012 and was recorded on my netbook's slightly damaged built-in mic.

Recording of me "growling" that has been highly altered to sound like a demon snarling. Same as "demon_ghost growling 1" but amplified to sound more sinister. Recorded and edited using audacity.

This is raw material for monster sound. It can be tuned down with pitch shifter and layered with other sounds for example. Slowing down also gives a nice effect.

Distant metallic, almost scraping-metal noise, with somewhat of a cthulu/beast sound. Horn with pitchbending, paulstretch, and more effects on top.

Drank milk to get lots of phlegm and recorded a growl in mixcraft 6 with effects.

Godzilla roaring 2 times with a bit of reverb to make it sound huge. Nice monster sound effect.

Godzilla is the King of all Monsters and this is his roar or at least an emulation of it.

This was a pretty hard work. I only use a triple osc and i took an advantage of the several asio bugs of my soundcard. I don't mix the sound. I've re-recorded that shape 15 times, after that, i applied massive echo and reverb filters. 3 osc, echo, reverb, compressor.

Synthesized and processed my voice for this one again, i'd like to see how ya use it.
