A simple mouse click from the logitech g302. Recorded in audacity using the blue snowball, then trimmed and fine-tuned. Timbre did some remixes, so if you want some variance, there ya go. Another example on "listening" to a computer. Many sounds you hear are overtones from fans. The sharp noise is data transfers. Most of the sounds are caused by moving the mouse. The processors are not "heard" by placing a small antenna between the flat cables from two hard discs, you can capture the data packages. That may be done next time.

Sounds a bit like a robot computing something (obviously a smaller, perhaps friendly or unaligned robot), or a computer, or a grocery store checkout. I originally got this sound from scraping a nail-belt along a plastic chair, and edited the clip in audacity. Enjoy!.

I found a program called "bitmaps & waves" today, and thought i'd take it for a spin, basically, what it does is convert any bitmap image into a waveform that you can hear. This is a screen shot from my computer interface. Get this program (yep, it's free!) at http://www. Elisanet. Fi/victorx/bitmapplayer. Htm. Made with bitmaps & waves.

For fast firing lasers, honestly it's better to use nonquick versions of my laser beam sounds as the sound when quick is too abrupt.
