One of my favorite spots to hike in illinois has this quite long, and beautiful and rock-lined beautiful creek. Now, even though this creek is in heavy forest, which often leads to very low water levels during the summer, this creek is spring fed so it always has a beautiful ribbon of pure water running 12 months out of the year. I've spent many minutes and countless hours beside this living, breathing water-course pondering the beauty of nature, and reflecting back on my childhood. A childhood filled with much love and many creek adventures. This was recorded on march 8 2021, at a time in the midwest woods when the mayapples are popping up-- lime green umbrellas spotting the forest floor. Recorded with sound device mixpe-6 and a sennheiser me66. Enjoy the stream of re-birth in illinois.

Recorded, sorry to say, on my canon t3i mounted on tripod about 3 feet from the water so there is very little stereo separation. Runs at about -10db. Enjoy, i plan to upload more from my trip. I've been to some old massive limekilns and it's like a cave inside with lots of water dripping from the ceiling. There was also a draft coming through the whole building. And there's a leak in the wall. That's the water you hear streaming.

This is the big radiator in my living room. I turn it on for a wile, then off again. The sound is taken with an akg condenser microphone and an audio 4 dj soundcard. . . . Enjoy imagine this big radiator. It is pretty nice warm inhere!:-d.

This is a small river near where i live, when i recorded this i was under a noisy bridge so i decided to reduce the noise a little and i came up with a quiet gentle stream of water. Enjoy!.

This recording is made not of the falls but of the water right before the falls, so you can hear the roar of the falls in the background, but the recording is dominated by the sound of the river approaching them. I made the recording on the brazilian side of the falls, if that makes any difference to you.
