Here's a hummingbird recorded at 96khz, then filtered and slowed 900%, resampled to 44. 1you can hear the individual wing strokes and the chirps now sound something like the monsters from the movie "pitch black".

This is the superimposition of 2 sounds, 1/ what seems to be a distant metallic sound and 2/ what seems to be multiple impacts and touches on a plastic wrap layer. I don't exactly remember what i was going for on that one.

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

One of my first at attempts to make an impact sound by layering. I should have picked better source material. I used some recordings of closing a door. Http://freesound. Org/people/cabled_mess/sounds/335737/. I cut and processed the sound in cubase 6. 5. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).

I was actually hunting for sounds that i could use for a "chain lightning" sound, but ended up making a short drone that i made from a ground hum.
