Made using two synths. One is a noise generator that has been pitched down three octaves. It has a 12-hertz sine tremolo on either side, one of which is offset by half a wavelength. The other synth is a deep organ playing e3 and g3. I cut the sound in audacity, and the waves line up perfectly, so you don't need to worry about looping it badly.

The man doesn't snore, but there really isn't all that much difference. A big chest has big lungs and they take a while to fill. On exhale just a small portion of each breath has a bit of expressive voice. Who knows why? to be fair, it isn't always present when he sleeps. Just often. This is the sound of cold winter wind finding its way through the gaps in our living room window.
