Recorded during the heatwave that the uk endured in 2022 this was a recording made from the garden on august 25th. The recording starts with gentle rain which slowly becomes heavier. Around 25 minutes the first distant rumble can be heard. From 30 minutes onwards. The soothing sounds of thunder and heavy rain. From an hour on the storm moves away and the rain eases.

The sound emitted and created from the vocal chords of a person when he, or she commits the act that is "coughing". Recorded on an iphone 6s.

Walking through the snow on a windy winter day in the woods.

It's a part of my pack "sickness". Sounds i recorded while being sick. I got a virus infection resulting in elevated body temperature, lack of strength, cough, running nose and sneezing. Check the title for what is in this particular recording. Recorded with zoom h2 on a mic-stand @ 96khz/24-bit. All the sounds in this pack are raw (unprocessed) they were truncated and converted to flac (both using audacity) but not normalized, with original 24-bit precision - turn them up as you need, denoise if you have to, cut out what you want. W train approaches elevated station in astoria nyc on a cold winter night. Doors open, people leave, ambient quiet of the city, doors close, train departs. Slightly less intense than the n train recording.

Just having some fun with the 6 inches of snow that we received. The first part of this is me walking/breaking some ice that had formed in a low area and then me walking on snow, which has a frosty glaze on top of it. Recorded with the handy/zoom h-4n recorder using its built-in microphones. The built-in microphones can be adjusted to pick up sound from 90 degrees around the microphones to 180 degrees. For this recording, i had them on 180 degrees. *note, you will also -- if you listen carefully -- hear a male robin singing in a tree. Pretty unique combination - the snow and ice being crunched with the typical sound of spring in background. He must have been one tough bird!.
