These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.
Echoey, creepy piano loop from a song i was working on that may never be finished. Created with the "steinway grand piano" patch, in addition to the "echo" and "silververb" plugins, all within logic pro x. If you use this in a song, i request that you link the song in the comments. Test subject is given two types of music to listen to, and asked to describe their difference. The color of the first kind of music is not provided, but the color of the second kind of music is orange. This is possibly a color code for the experiment, but may also be what a person with synesthesia sees when they hear it. The first kind of music is considered as merely "entertainment", hence its descriptionthe second (orange) kind of music, according to the subject, affects our spirit, to which the experimenter says "sure".
From my personal library, a packet of kick samples processed with tube input and triton extreme filters. All samples are normalized to 0 db and ready to use.
This is a recording i made of a child's toy that had dead batteries in it. The sample playback rate was slowed by the drain of the amplifier. As sounds played back their pitch and sample rate changed depending on the amplitude of the sound. . . Pretty cool effect i figured. . . "man i gotta record that and use it!" so here it is!.
Recorded in my bathroom using an omnidirectional condenser-microphone and a zoom h-5. Cut in ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these samples for. Let me know. ;-).
