Early morning, crossing the bay of biscay in a force ten gale, the whole cabin (high up in the ship) creates a symphony of sounds. Engine noise in the background, plus a cacophony of different stresses on the woodwork and fittings of the cabin.

Low rumble, could resemble thunder in the distance or low frequency rumble. More sounds like this on wavjunction. Com.

This is a recording of the wind whistling between the cracks in the window, creating very unpleasant unpeaceful atmosphere (with occasional very quiet blind scratching against the window). Made with canon camcorder.

My first upload to freesound is a thunderstorm recorded in gateshead, uk, next to our open bathroom window. Some lovely thunderclaps and rain. Recorded on a zoom h5. There are also some household sounds swimming around in the background, doors closing, dishes clinking etc; i think you can hear the radio or something very faintly towards the end -- but there's plenty of clean usable thunder and rain in there. Incidentally i often use this type of thing in my long-form instrumental music, produced under the name conelrad. I have a podcast of album-length instrumental music which comes out every other week, called conelcast. Check it out wherever you get podcasts or at conelrad. Co. Rain falling on my apartment. I´m the last floor and have ceiling windows. I move around the apartment getting different versions. Midway you can hear light music in the background. I also open the window near the end and you can hear a few thunders. Lluvia cayendo sobre mi apartamento. Soy el último piso y tengo ventanas en el techo. A lo largo del audio me muevo a través del apt buscando diferentes versiones. En la segunda mitad es posible escuchar música suave de fondo.
