I made this sound in september 2003 - i used a fairlight mfx 3 - a direct descendant of the first sampler ever made - and the best ever to this day editing software for ground breaking features and functions. Clip based eq and level which you could cross fade between made the use of automation almost redundant in precise to picture editing. It also had a unique alternative jog function. You could loop 1 frame or so as you chose of sound at the orginal pitch which made it easy to find transient points. I then 'grind' the play head over a solo'd sound and play this into a reverb unit. I have many of these accidental experiments and one day i shall make the fairlight pack!. Until then enjoy this alien - from mars with love :). Ps - you can do this experiment today! i found that i can use sound flower as an out put in audio finder. If you open a sample in the sample editor - you can recreate the fairlight jpg by grabbing the playback head in play. You may then route sound flower thru an input channel and get some unusual effects that are difficult to achieve. . If you can improve on this method let me know!.
Just an obnoxious construction sound in my apartment building. Recorded in the tile hallway with the perspective getting a little bit closer over the course of a minute. Recorded using internal mics of a tascam dr-44wl. Edited in samplitude.
Sound design that i made for a video game, layered a bunch of sounds and processed them to create an impactful sci-fi sound. This one is a spaceship door opening.
Sounds like the jaws theme song bass sound. These sounds are actually an xm with a changed file extension to. Wav, and then loaded into a wav editor which converted it to a readable format. I then removed the unbelievable noise to see what i ended up with. After that, i cut out the parts that sort of sounded cool and these are some of the ones i am willing to let everyone have.
The sound of an engine, or spaceship powering up/booting down! several versions in one recording. Created with my dexed synthesizer settings and keyboard.
A re-edit of this::. Https://freesound. Org/s/145592/. Filtered it a few times and added a few reverbs. All done in cool edit. . . I mean adobe audition.
Another of the recordings i did on my phone at work of a steel cable at tension between phone poles. Hitting it with a wrench and making laser sounds. Cleaned up in audacity as the other one was. One is better than the other but can't remember which one i liked the best. Use as you please. If you use it for something and have the time to tell me where it ended up, that's cool. Either way, enjoy.
This is futuristic sound effect of smg one shot. It is perfect for your games or movies. Sound is created from scratch in fl studio. It free to use and reupload on any website.
A patch in the eventide dsp4000 kept bugging out on me and this was the result. I couldn't be mad about the glitch because it sounded so cool when it did it's thing. I was just lucky enough to capture it.
Heavy effects sorta space type of intro then changes into a arena rock 80’s style of riff then some single notes to let the effects ring out (with a hint of slop).
Dark horror sound, 2nd piece. My sounds are free. I'm always happy to see how they are used in your artworks. Please enter https://freesound. Org/people/neolein/ in your references.
File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. If you use it for anything interesting and want to share what you used it on, sure let me know. Enjoy.
Took one of these:. Http://freesound. Org/people/fromesound/sounds/318771/#comments. Time stretched it a bit on audition, then added a nice reverb in reason, then did a little editing in audacity. 즐기세요.
Space ambience: ore mine, deep atmosphere, alien sounds. Hard impact sounds, mechanical screams. Recorded and mastered through audio software, no factory samples. Made as an experiment into sound design, here is the result. Recorded in ireland. Made by michaelsoundfx.
Squealing sound that switches between the left and the right speaker channels, making an eerie, metallic, and slightly distant effect. This sound is a modification from the sound "creaking metal desk". Recorded with: shure sm57 dynamic microphone. Processed with: audacity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------please leave feedback by commenting below. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this sound and what you used it for. If you published your finished compilation to the web go ahead and include a link. Patch on my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer. Recorded in early 2015 using my google nexus 5 with a class-compliant audio-interface and the soundcloud app. I called it "babysteps" at the time. Denoised with audacity. Cut and normalized using ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-). You can also check out my pond5 profile. Sounds like a laser going off, then a big rumbling explosion. Created in adobe audition using the generate tones to create a saw wave sweeping from 22khz to 20 hz, then reverbed and eq'd.
This is made by feeding homemade images to audiopaint 3. 0 while its oscillators are tuned to randomly-selected scales. Some of them use sine waves, while others use custom waveforms.
A rendition of :: http://freesound. Org/people/kkz/sounds/66224/. Just pitched down an octave with another layer 2 notes up so they are modulating plus a bitcrusher with amount going down plus a flange/chorus thing.
