I made this pad sound by starting with a traditional saw wave and mixing various effects together such as reverb and chorus. The wav file also has pre-defined loop points that can be used in samplers that support the functionality. Note: there is a slight static noise that is present when the sound is played through the freesound player on the website, however, the static is not present when played outside of the freesound audio player. You are in a spacecraft that defends itself by means of photon guns. You can hear the firing of guns with various sound, depending from where in the large spacecraft.

Flash gordon's enemy, ming, sends propaganda on many intergalactic channels. Attempts to distinguish the broadcastings, but ming's technology is superior.

The spaceship portholes flashed of different coloured lights and let filter an increasing noise of tortured machines. Then it came a sudden explosion, so strong to lacerate the brain: an empty of white and yellow fire. Tones made with nch tone generator.

Created this sample using only audacity. I started off by generating a square wave chirp between 10000 and 20000 hz on a mono track, copied this created a stereo track and messed around with timestretching and low pass filtering until i got the desired sound.

This is a loopable sci-fi laser beam sound effect. The effect was created for ludum dare #24.

This sound effect was created using beeping effects and then used a audio flanger to create the effect, 200 mili seconds variable delay, 0. 200 hz and a fixed delay of 100 mili seconds.

The name almost says it all. Some synth attuned a certain pitching way, with some amount and rate lfo speed up and down.
