Chopping wood with an axe. Some distant traffic is noticeable occasionally. Recorded in stereo 24 bit 96 khz with the internal mics on a sony m10 with windjammer. About 1 meter away from the logs being chopped. Please use this sound for whatever you want, completely free, no restrictions. Ambience sound of a woman cooking in a rural kitchen of a small village of nicaragua. You can hear logs in a stove, fire sparks, hot oil in a pan, hi-fi sounds, parrot, chicken, crickets, birds, television soap opera.
Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.
Imagine you are in a creaky old house during a thunderstorm. The old grandfather clock ticking away, a couple of cats somewhere in the house and no reception from an old black and white television or radio but your nice and cosy in front of a crackling log fire.
