Creepy vocal quicky.

This is an old gramophone with a 78rpm vinyl-record. The sounds include the winding-up, the placement of the needle, crackle-noise and other surface sounds of the vinyl, lifted-up needle and the sound of the vinyl record-player stopping. Recorded in stereo on a zoom h4 handheld recorder.

It is the sound of swallows who are known to make valuable nests out of their saliva. This hardened saliva is quite valuable and so this recording is often used to attract swallows in to nest in buildings. About 2. 5 minutes of ambient audio recorded at the hurunui jacks campground adjacent to the kaniere river near hokitika on the west coast of new zealand. This is an inland tropical rain-forest setting. There are lots of insect sounds, birds, and the sound of the river (not very prominent) in the background. No other sounds captured (no cars, airplanes, honking horns, people talking, etc). Would be good to use for a camp scene ambient in a similar location, nature scene, etc. Recorded with a zoom h1.

An old recording of me laughing in a weird (and kind of creepy) way. I had been talking with a friend on the phone and recording the conversation for some reason, and for some reason i laughed liked this. I don't know why.

I'm not sure why i had called it a "song". It's just a really old recording of me saying "omnom" repeated and layered on top of each other. It's annoying, and that's all it is.

Here are some single shots from a drum track i recorded. I actually used these for a great hiphop sounding drum track by putting them in my sampler and shortening up the decay. Recorded with a zoom ps-04, transfered to computer digitally.

This is a combination of plastic crackling, paper ripping and crumbling, sticks cracking and twisting, matches lighting, and a gas stove. All of which are moderately eqed and mixed in protools, but nothing is heavily processed. What is left is the illusion of a building fire.
