You hear one instrument -besides the drum and the common pair of cymbals- which name i ignore -any help with this will be deeply appreciated!this instrument apparently is very common in north thailand and laos. It consists of cymbals hanging in a wood structure that operates with strings! i mean, a totally alien thing for me. Sound record it with -sorry- a gopro camera hero4, then edited with audacity.
Wrote/recorded a guitar, simple bass, simple drums at 160-bpm. Guitar recorded direct into a scarlett 18i20 then used guitar rig 5 plugin from native instruments. Ezbass for bass. Playing the yocto drum machine through a busted karaoke machine i found at a flea market. Very distorted sound, should loop perfectly, 8 bars. First loop.
A large pane of mirror glass sitting across two sawhorses is drummed on, making a surprisingly big resonant drum sound. At about 0:18 the inevitable happens: several extra smashing and shattering sounds are audible after the initial break.
This is a free kick sound i created using a roland 808 drum machine. I then ran it through distortion and compression in sound forge to get this hard boomy crunchy punch. Pitched at c2 for convenience. Enjoy :).
8 bar drum pattern made in fl studio 10s fpc plugin. I do not know yet or it is possible to mix loops made in fpc so these sounds are as they came in fl studio 10.
