Basically its a synthesized snare bottom, with a real clap layered with a white noise burst, eq'd and also filtered with what i can only really call "parallel- saturation. ".

Made a snare, then totally twisted it. All this done in fl studio. Took a lot of tinkering in a certain newtone program to make this sound. Enjoy!.

Heavily-processed glitchy sounding samples, possibly useful for minimal. Made using my own recordings as well as fl studio samples (royalty free) through vst effects chain.

A half time beat @ 120. Done in caustic on the beatbox. Have a phaser and delay over it just to funk it up. 👽👹👮.

Slightly better version of sound 678955. This 100-second cymbal roll is done using a hi-hat. Edited in audacity 3. 2. 4 at 48 khz with filter curve effects and fades.

A reverse 20" mapex ride cymbal. Captured with a sure sm57. Noticeable lack of high end, however, it can still be used for song intros etc. (no reverb or any other effects were added to this sound).

Originally made for the disquiet junto project 0433: "kit bits: create a kit’s worth of percussion samples. ". I used 1. Recordings with a telephone coil microphone recording sounds from an external blu ray drive and a smartphone (telephone coil recorded via behringer xenyx q1202 usb mixer, line-in) and 2. Random recordings from a soma ether device (recorded with zoom h1n, line-in). In these recordings i picked up those areas which i though to be useful for a drum kit, just as i would do it for myself. My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.
