Electric guitar with distortion effect. Chopped up in to small pieces, randomly re arranged, faded in and out and then put through a stereo echo effect.
A sound effect to increase suspens in a horror game for example, can be used in a music aswell(it makes me somewhat think of a ping pong ball)created using audacity.
My first upload of a vocal sample to freesound. I hope my german accent and voice in general isn't too distracting. Recorded with a rode nt5 and a mixpre-6 in my bedroom. Very mild clean-up in rx. Https://freesound. Org/forum/sample-requests/41792.
Experiment weaving objects in to the banjo strings creating spooky vibration and hum effect. Very scifi/horror. Some low popping noises, dog bark at beginning, chatter in middle; recorded with cheap pc microphone.
The sound of footsteps while walking inside anthony gormley's metal sculpture at the white cube gallery in london, with the last few seconds recorded while walking on the concrete floor of the galley after coming out of the sculpture. The sound echoes inside the metal sculpture and sound from other people can be heard at the beginning.
Made this by putting my keyboard through my guitar pedal, distorting the kick drum, then putting an echo on it. I made it to put in my horror film in media studies.
Short snippets of voice demonstrating the acoustics of different enviroments: a normal living room with hard floors, a bathroom, and a studio treated for sound. Recorded with a handheld recorder (omnidirectional microphone) held at arm's length, mono.
