I discovered beepbox yesterday and decided to try it out, getting the melody as i went. This was the final result. I look forward to do more. Variation of the loop from:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/maxndee/sounds/106962/. Placed each hit on beat of 125, then put it through a saw tooth transformer, then slight reverb and compression. Other little details like raising one side by 2 decibels to even things out. Also, arranged the rhythm according to a phrase i thought made some more sense, added a couple of variation percs of my own to fill in the gaps. Put either a different eq on them or changed the pitch. Enjoy.

The toubeleki, is a kind of a greek traditional drum musical instrument. It is made from metal, open at its downside and covered with a skin stretched over it. It is played with the hands and used often in the greek traditional folk rhythms.

I recorded my dishwasher with my phone and used made it into a shaker-ish loop by speeding it up and using an expander. Its kinda weird but with the right processing it can give a really nice texture and rhythm to your tracks. Tempo is 125 bpm. Have fun.
