I believe i recorded these with a sound devices 702 and a neumann rsm 191 stereo shotgun. They are long car bys on a quiet road. Lots of distance to my left and right so you get some nice long singular car bys. Maybe one or two instances with a multi car pass. The roads were wet when this recording was done.
Recorded on 03/04/2010 at approx. 4:40pm on the shoulder of the hume highway about 30 minutes outside of canberra, australia. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, with a windshield. File has not been modified.
Footsteps walking on dirt/gravel. First addition to my footsteps pack. Recorded with zoom h6 recorder and rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. Cleaned with reaper. Feel free to leave a link to the project that you used this sound in. Would love to see and hear how you used the sound. :).
More walking on metal stairs in a reverberant concrete stairwell. Slower than the first one, with more variety of movement. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.
Audio recording of cars passing by. Recorded in stereo and 24 bits using two microphones: beyerdynamic mc930 (left channel), shure sm 57 (right channel). Captured using a metric halo lio-8 (using the internal uln-r preamps).
This is a recording of a train going through two stations in a city (bristol)on the seven beach line. It is a diesel train. It is not a high speed train.
The excitement builds as the olympics womens cyclists pass newark lane, ripley, surrey on 29th july 2012 preceded by police motorcyclists getting the crowd going and olympics vehicles.
Footsteps. . . Note:. These are no field recordings but handmade walking sounds in different speeds and manners intended for game creation. Most of them you can loop. They are recorded as dry as possible so you should add the ambience you like. How to make these:. 1. First empty two bottles of the famous spanish brandy lepanto. 2. Keep the korks - they have a very special sound different from the korks of wine bottles. 3. Then, if you're still able to hit (maybe you shouldn't drink the brandy alone and at once), fill things in a flat bowl or a plate - f. E. Pepper grains or salt. 4. Step the korks in the bowl and record it. You may also - as i did - step the korks on other things like a ventilator. 5. Compress the sounds hard but limit them to -4 db (as they sound not naturally if they are to loud).
