I decided to upload all of my sound design stuff where i am working or have worked on. This is a series of hard sole footsteps on a stone tile floor i recorded for slicing it up to load it in a sampler. Recorded with a brauner phantom classic via an xlogic alpha vdh pre-amp from solid state logic.

Church ambiance sound effects that include people whispering, a priest walking in hard sole shoes, and the church sounds.

Layered car crash sound effect. Created using a noise box (quality street) filled with grit, broken glass and other bits and bobs. Also used a recording of a metal filing cabinet being hit for that metallic impact. 24bit 48 khz stereo.

I was walking through a local church venue during a large refurbishment project and realised the noise my footsteps were making was rather neat. Recorded on an iphone. . . It's all i had at the time!.

Not super clean - some wind noise and a chirping cicada, but some good clean sploshes to be had.

Walking through a muddy field - mic following with the feet to give a mono track that could be used instead of a foley recording. Recorded with a me66 onto tascam dr40 at 48kh. There is a little wind rumble and some distant birdsong (blackbird - uk).

This is traffic on hwy 134 (next to walt disney studios / warner brothers studios) recorded while standing on the hollywood way overpass on 11/16/2018 in burbank, ca. Surprisingly, traffic flow was pretty good and i would assume cars were traveling around 40 to 50 mph. Enjoy,. Christopher c. Courter.

4ch field recording of an underpass below a german motorway, the a38 by leipzig. The recorder is located directly beneath an expansion joint on the edge of the underpass, the clonks and clanks of cars and trucks driving over the joint can clearly be heard, with the motorway noise reverberating in the underpass in the background. Recorded with a zoom h2 with a rycote windscreen, mounted on a boom pole. These are the rear channels, mics set to 120° dispersion.

Sound of footsteps (hiking boots) in an artificial stone tunnel about 4 to 5 metres in diameter in brezzo di bedero (northern italy). The tunnel is part of the structures of the 'cadorna' defence line, dating back to wwi, and leads to an artillery emplacement in a cave. Sound of footsteps and crunching gravel under the soles, with a slight echo and reverberation from the cave environment. Perfect for creating eerie, natural and industrial backgrounds and first-person vr experiences. Recorded with a zoom h1n held in hand while walking and pointed towards the feet.

This is my first time ever recording ambiance, i used the tascam dr-40, please leave any notes and suggestions on how i can better make these ambient recordings. This is a nice clean recording of hard-rubber soled shoes running and walking up and down metal stairs in a concrete stairwell. It's reverberant, but clean. I hope it's useful to somebody. While attribution isn't necessary, i'd love to hear what you've used it in. Also, for anybody who's interested, it was actually recorded in the parking garage of universal studios in hollywood, ca.
