I was recording an acoustic version of a song called "closer" by my band dead rituals, and a friend let me borrow this old neapolitan mandolin. I made some random noises by picking behind the strings at the end of a take, and i decided to sample it!.

I took 104588_meral_celtic-meral. Wav, ran a loop through sharm studio to pan it bilaterally (left-right channel oscillation) at 359 times a minute (359 cpm), which seems to align with the bpm of the loop.
